Shire have been producing garden buildings since 1981. Initially we utilised the skill our workforce possessed when we stopped producing Yachts and started to make Garden Buildings. We have consistently expanded over the years, skills have been passed on and our factories and warehouses now occupy some 20 acres. We have invested in the best equipment and have facilities that include a planing mill, self-contained joinery production, undercover timber store and large warehouses that can hold some 20,000 buildings in stock.

Shire GB is an established business for over 25 years and unfortunately had a bad experience with a couple of previous website designers. They needed an E-Commerce website solution that would make selling their products easy for the customer who is navigating the website. They needed their logo vectoring as they only had a low quality version of their logo and also all products to be indexed correctly on spreadsheets so the correct variations could be inputted into the new site design. They have a lot of products and needed the variations to work correctly with conditional logic (the selection and cost to change dependent on the options selected by the user)

This job was very time challenging due to the amount of products and variations but it really helped us to work closely with the client and grew a strong relationship to work forward with. We had to learn about all of their products and it gave us a real insight to their industry. Putting all the products together in a design that made it easy for the visitor to navigate was very satisfying to launch a site that worked for this client in the way they needed.
